About Me

My name is Ryan Kempster, I am a marine neuroecologist and founder of the shark conservation group www.supportoursharks.com. I am currently based in Perth, Australia undertaking a 4 year research project to further understand the role of electroreception in the feeding behaviour of sharks. I've worked all over the world on various marine conservation projects, as I have a passion to preserve and protect our oceans. With a keen interest in shark conservation, I hope to use my knowledge to improve perceptions of sharks and conserve their populations for the future.
